We build websites and apps for other businesses. So people ask us. Why did you make your own app?
Here is the honest answer.
Building is only half the work. Any good team can build. The real questions come after launch.
When we only built for clients we gave the project and moved on. We did not live with it every day.
So we made Hi Boards. It is our own app and real people use it. Now we face the same questions that our clients face after launch.
It has changed the way we build. We think about things that we did not think about before. What happens when the user forgets the PIN? What happens when the internet goes in the middle? What does the Play Store ask for before it lets the app in?
Questions after launch
- Is it safe? People are trusting you with their data. You have to protect it every day.
- Is it fast when many people use it? An app that works for ten users can become slow for a thousand.
- What does the Play Store ask for? Privacy policy, data safety form, account delete option and much more.
- What do users complain about? Users tell you things that no meeting can tell you.
What we learnt to avoid
- Thinking the work is over on the launch day
- Ignoring user feedback
- Not planning for updates
- Collecting data that the app does not need
So when we build for you we are not only building. We know what comes after. Security, speed, store rules and support.
That is the benefit of working with a team that runs its own product.
What to do in the next 7 days
- Day 1: Open hi.kvai.in and make an account.
- Day 2: Use it for one real task.
- Day 3: Note what you liked and what you did not.
- Day 4 to 7: Tell us. We read every message and we fix what we can.
See the app: hi.kvai.in
What is one thing you wish every app did better? Tell us. We are listening.
