Grocery list. Electricity bill date. School meeting. Doctor visit. Gas booking. Maid's leave.
Every family has these small things. Someone has to remember them. In most homes that someone is one person.
Families use a WhatsApp group for this. But the group is full of good morning messages and forwards. The important message goes up and nobody can find it.
Make one family board on Hi Boards.
It looks like the notice board or the fridge door at home. Everyone can add a note. Everyone sees it live on their own phone. Mother adds milk to the list and father sees it while he is at the shop.
When the work is done you remove the note. The board stays clean.
Boards families make
- Groceries and daily needs. Anyone adds an item. Whoever goes to the market sees the list.
- Bills and due dates. Electricity, school fees and insurance. With the date on the note.
- School dates and homework. Exam dates, parent meeting and project submission.
- Trip planning. Tickets, hotel address and packing list in one place.
Please remember
- Putting bank passwords or card numbers on the board
- Making one board for everything. Make separate boards
- Keeping done notes on the board
- Sharing the board code outside the family
It works in English, Hinglish, Hindi, Marathi and Urdu. So parents and grandparents can also use it easily.
There is no phone number or email needed. Every family member makes a username and joins with a code or a QR.
