Here is a small idea that costs almost nothing.
Every day you give a bill or a packet to your customer. After that the customer goes home and the connection is over. You do not know if they were happy. You do not know if they will come back.
Now think about this. What if that bill had a small QR code on it?
The customer scans it at home. One simple page opens on the phone. From that page they can do four things in one tap.
The best part is the timing. The customer has just bought from you. They are happy at that moment. That is the best time to ask for a review or a repeat order. After one week they will forget.
Put these four buttons on the page
- Rate us on Google. A direct link to your Google review box. The customer should not have to search for it.
- Order again on WhatsApp. One tap opens a chat with your number and a ready message.
- See new arrivals. Show this week's new stock or today's special.
- Save our number. When your number is saved the customer can see your WhatsApp status also.
Mistakes to avoid
- Opening your full website from the QR code. It is too much for a small screen
- Printing the QR code too small to scan
- Asking for a review and a follow and a form all together
- Forgetting to test the code on two or three different phones
You can print the same QR code on your packing box, your carry bag and a small stand near the counter.
Change the page every month. Put the festival offer on it. Put a new product on it. The code stays the same and only the page changes. You do not have to print anything again.
What to do in the next 7 days
- Day 1: Decide the four things you want the customer to do after they buy.
- Day 2: Get your Google review link and your WhatsApp link ready.
- Day 3: Get the small page made and test it on three different phones.
- Day 4 to 7: Print the QR code on your bill and watch how many people scan it.
We can make this page and the QR code for you in a day. Message us on WhatsApp
Where would you print the QR code first? On the bill, the box or the counter? Tell us below.
