Every business owner asks the same question. How do I get more customers?
Most answers are about one small thing. Post more reels. Run ads. Make a website. Each one can help. But a customer does not come from one thing. A customer comes from a road with six stops on it.
We drew that road as one map. Then we drew one page for each stop with five tips and one thing to do today.
You can save every graphic and share it with your team.
The whole map

A stranger becomes a regular customer in six steps.
- Get found. They search and they see you.
- Your website. They understand what you sell.
- Get the enquiry. They message or call you.
- Follow up. You reply and you stay in touch.
- Earn trust. They see proof and they buy.
- Bring them back. They buy again and tell others.
Most businesses are strong at two stops and forget the rest. A shop with a beautiful website and no follow-up loses the same customers as a shop with no website.
1. Get found
People search before they visit. Be there when they do.

- Claim your Google Business Profile. It is free. Add timings, phone, WhatsApp and photos.
- Use the words customers use. Write 'boutique in Lajpat Nagar' not only your brand name.
- Keep the same name and number everywhere. Google, Instagram, Justdial and your website should match.
- Add 5 new photos every month. A fresh profile looks like an open shop.
- Put your area in your page titles. City and locality help local customers find you.
Do this today: Search your own business on Google Maps and fix what is wrong.
2. Your website
A good home page answers 3 questions in 5 seconds.

- Say what you sell in the first line. A new visitor should not have to guess.
- Keep one main button. Call, WhatsApp or Book. Only one.
- Make it fast on mobile data. Small photos, few plugins, good hosting.
- Show prices or a starting price. People leave when they cannot find the cost.
- Keep the domain in your own name. So you can change the developer any time.
Do this today: Open your site on a phone and time how long the first screen takes.
3. Get the enquiry
Make it very easy to talk to you.

- Put a WhatsApp button on every page. Most customers prefer it to a form.
- Ask only for name and number. Every extra field loses some people.
- Reply within 10 minutes in working hours. The first business to reply often wins.
- Set an auto reply for nights. Say when you will call back.
- Use one page for one offer. Festival offer or new batch gets its own page.
Do this today: Send an enquiry to your own business and see what happens.
4. Follow up
Most sales happen after the second or third message.

- Write every lead in one place. A sheet or a CRM. Not in your head.
- Follow up on day 1, day 3 and day 7. Then stop. Do not chase.
- Let reminders run on their own. Automation never forgets a lead.
- Note why people said no. Price, timing or trust. Fix the most common one.
- Send the quote the same day. A late quote looks like late service.
Do this today: List every enquiry from last month that got no second message.
5. Earn trust
People believe what they can see.

- Ask happy customers for a Google review. Ask on the same day, with a direct link.
- Show real photos of your work. Before and after works better than stock photos.
- Reply to every review. Thank the good ones. Answer the bad ones calmly.
- Show your face and your team. People buy from people.
- Never write fake reviews. One caught review breaks all the trust.
Do this today: Message 3 happy customers and ask for a Google review.
6. Bring them back
A repeat customer costs less than a new one.

- Save every customer's number with permission. Ask before you add them to any list.
- Send useful updates not daily offers. New stock, reminders and tips.
- Make repeat orders one tap. A reorder button or a small app.
- Remember dates. Service due, renewal, birthday.
- Reward regular customers. Points or a small gift keeps them with you.
Do this today: Find your 20 most regular customers and thank them this week.
How to use this map
Start with your weakest stop. Not the one you enjoy. If you love making reels but never follow up, stop 4 is where your money is.
Fix one stop in one week. Do the "Do this today" task first. It takes less than an hour and it shows you the real problem.
Ask about the result not the task. Do not ask "Did we post today?" Ask "Did anyone message us today?" The first is work. The second is business.
Check the map every month. Your weak stop will change as you grow.
Want help with a stop?
We build websites, apps and automation for businesses. Tell us which stop is weak for you and we will tell you what to fix first. It is free.
Frequently asked questions
Q.Can I use these graphics in my own posts?
Yes. Save them and share them with your team or on social media. Please keep the KVai name on them.
Q.Which stop should a new business start with?
Start with stop 1. Claim your Google Business Profile and make sure your name, number and timings are correct. It is free and it takes about 20 minutes.
Q.Do I need a website for all six stops?
No. Stops 1, 4, 5 and 6 work even without a website. But a simple website makes stops 2 and 3 much easier.
